Edward Goodwin was last seen on June 29, 2015; he was reported missing on July 5th. Edward’s phone was traced to a field. Butler County Sheriff’s Department walked the field, but neglected to search the pond.
Over two years later, Edward’s remains were found in that pond. Two men have since been convicted for luring Edward to that remote area and murdering him.
Over six years later, most of Edward’s remains are still in that pond, despite numerous promises from Sheriff Dobbs that he would be removed so that his family could finally lay him to rest.
Edward was only 32 years old when he died. He left behind a wife, three children, his parents, six siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
How long must his family suffer? His parents have to drive past that pond every day. Tell Sheriff Dobbs to do his job and give Edward’s family some closure.
