We are the families, friends, and neighbors of Butler County, Missouri who have lost loved ones and have yet to get justice. We are the victims of brutality and corruption from the police and sheriff. We are the targets for harassment, and we are the overlooked. For too long each of us has been trying to make our voices heard, but it seems no one would listen. We have joined together to make our voices louder and make our demands heard.
Families United for Justice in Butler County officially began in 2021, but for many of us the fight for justice goes back years. We call on everyone to join us and help fight the corruption, cover ups, and killings that have become all too common.
We are a grassroots organization formed not by an agenda, but by grief, sorrow, and anger. We cannot and will not give up on those we’ve lost, and we will fight for those who are targets now so other families don’t suffer the same fate.
We will not stop until we get justice!
