OUR BACKGROUND
We are the families, friends, and neighbors of Butler County, Missouri who have lost loved ones and have yet to get justice. We are the victims of brutality and corruption from the police and sheriff. We are the targets for harassment and we are the overlooked. For too long each of us has been trying to make our voices heard, but it seems no one would listen. We have joined together to make our voices louder and make our demands heard.
We will not stop until we get justice.
OUR DEMANDS
Remove Butler County Sheriff & Poplar Bluff Police Chief
It is clear that Sheriff Dobbs and Chief Whitely are unable or unwilling to provide justice for all. We demand someone who will look out for the whole community, not just a privileged few.
Department of Justice Investigation
We demand a full investigation into the sheriff’s department and the Butler County Jail to weed out corruption, neglect, and abuse of power.
Prosecute Our Loved Ones’ Killers
We demand to see justice for our loved ones, regardless of whether the killer wears a uniform.
